Dr. Booth is a fourth-year anatomic and clinical pathology resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), in Galveston. He previously served as Chief Resident at UTMB and currently holds several national leadership positions including Chair of the College of American Pathologists’ Residents Forum Executive Committee. His research interests include gastrointestinal and liver pathology, digital pathology, patient-pathologist consultation, and pathology social media. He is active with the UTMB School of Medicine Pathology Association for Students. Most recently, he was named one of the American Society of Clinical Pathology’s Top 5 40 Under Forty and to The Pathologist magazine’s 2019 Pathology Power List as one of 100 trailblazers of the lab. Following residency, Dr. Booth will complete a fellowship in gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.
