Katie Saunders, DO is a PGY-2 in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her interest in pathology started in college at New York University in a forensic anthropology class. Ever since, she has had immense interest in surgical pathology and forensic pathology! She also has a lot of interest in medical education and pathology outreach. She is originally from Maine, enjoys all things outdoors including biking and hiking, and she is a private pilot!
