Dr. Alisha Ware is an Assistant Professor of pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Ware earned her medical degree at the University of Virginia. She completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency and a hematopathology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of expertise include the diagnosis of hematologic malignancies.
Dr. Ware is a clinical-educator and an active member of the Department of Pathology Educational Advisory Committee. Her interests include graduate and undergraduate pathology medical education. She also focuses on promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in medical education and in the field of pathology, and she works closely with the Pathology and House Staff Diversity Committees. Dr. Ware is also invested in medical trainee and professional well-being, and she established and serves as the advisor for the Pathology Resident Wellness Committee.
