Objectives
Normal: Describe the type of epithelium that lines different areas of the stomach.
Gastritis: Know the definition of gastritis and identify the histologic changes associated with active and chronic gastritis
Helicobacter pylori gastritis: Recognize the pattern of injury seen in Helicobacter pylori gastritis
Autoimmune gastritis: Distinguish the pathogenesis and histopathologic findings of autoimmune gastritis
Hypertrophic gastropathies: know the pathogenesis of the two main hypertrophic gastropathies
Polyps and Tumors: Distinguish different types of polyps and adenocarcinoma of the stomach
