Course Description

This course offers a broad overview of what a pathologist does, what anatomic pathology is, how slides are fixed and stained, how pathologists come to a diagnosis, and what is it like to be a pathologist. This is meant to serve as a primer for many of the other courses found on PathElective as it offers a “big picture” view of pathology and laboratory medicine. We hope you enjoy this course!
