Dr. Zuckerman received his MD from UCLA and PhD from Caltech. He also completed his pathology residency and renal pathology fellowship at UCLA . He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California Los Angeles where he is the service chief of renal pathology, surgical pathology fellowships program director, and incoming residency program director. He has a passion for renal pathology education and enjoys sharing interesting and challenging educational pathology cases through social media (@JZRenalpath). He is also strongly committed to open access free medical education and is thrilled to be able to contribute to pathelective.com.
