Though PathElective cannot offer in-person observerships or electives, we can provide resources to help you find what you are looking for.

All Students:

• Consider joining the following professional organizations (usually free for trainees):

  • College of American Pathologists

  • American Society for Clinical Pathology

  • United States and Canada Academy of Pathology

• Join Virtual PathSIG—the world’s first international pathology student interest group

• Join your local pathology interest group, get involved with the department, and grow your community locally.

US Medical Students

• Complete a pathology rotation at your home institution
